How is Redemption?

I haven't had a chance to play, but I absolutely hate the flavor of Redemption. I am a support main and the idea of casting something while dead or having to worry about something being cast by a dead person really just doesn't appeal to me. In all honesty, even while alive, the idea of having a Leona ult on everyone (visually) just seems distasteful.

What are your guys' opinions of the item? Like I said, I haven't tried it yet, so maybe I'm just being too conservative. I feel the same general way about plants...

Probably better in high Elo.

Can't seem to use it correctly as a bronze.. ._.

Tank supports are Busted right now.. I don't play tank supports.. .-. but yes. Knights vow is great

Should probably learn alistar for the time being..

TBH, item 3504 item 3174 item 3222 item 2045 item 3009 item 3092 should be pretty solid on just about every enchanter right now. As soon as they drop Athene's CDR by 10% and lower the price, things should be GREAT for them.

Meanwhile, item 3401 item 3190 item 3110 item 2045 item 3009 KV is probably going to be my go to from now on on everyone else.

Also support main. I cannot STAND it. Kills build variety, encourages a totally boring playstyle in favor of little moments of big impact. I often want to buy Censer because I like the flavor of the item, but redemption active just overshadows it as a shield/heal buff item. I hate playing Bard and knowing that redemption is a fantastic item on him, but that redemption bard is a completely different style of champ than my dumb Deadman's Plate/Zzrot portal tankbard.

Seriously, an active that's more gamebreaking than a lot of ults just makes every support champ's individual kit feel largely irrelevant. Definitely a huge minus to my gameplay experience.
