[suggestion] Cleanse (QSS) and invincibility (Hourglass) should be available to both ADs and APs

Hello,

Currently there are 2 very useful defensive items: Hourglass and QSS. However, Mages are limited to hourglass only, and only ADs can really get QSS.

I think these 2 effects should be available too all that wishes to buy it, AD or AP.

Invulnerability: Really good option for avoiding aoe/burst damage for a second. This effect would be useful for ADC's to help avoid an assassin's dmg for a second, or buy time for their team to peel. (IE good counter vs rengar ult , or mage cc/ burst). Zonya's Hourglass = + Dagger of Time = +

Cleanse: Really good for getting out of sticky sitations, and vs stun heavy comps. Would help open counterplay in mid lane vs cc heavy mages.

Mercurial Scimitar: + Cloak of Clarity +

Do you feel like these effects should be available to any champ that wants to buy the effect? Or should cleanse be available to ADs only, and INVulnerability for APs only.

Pretty sure Hourglass only exists because most AP champs have cooldowns

On an AD champ you can still Auto stuff, all you need to be able to do is move (QSS)

Very viable point about cooldowns Lazer. How do you feel about QSS /cleanse for mages?

Given that Mages can't take QSS but are free to take summoner Cleanse which doesn't remove suppresses, I think Riot wants to leave some way to reliably gib a mage, otherwise QSS+Zhonyas combo would make someone incredibly hard to catch.

It's kind of like sometimes in pro level play supports will take QSS+Mikhaels so they can QSS themselves so that they can mikhaels their carry, except in this case you'd be self peeling and it'd be straight up invulnerability instead of CC removal.

Thats 2 items slots for defensive items though, that should imply their offense will be limited if they're investing so much into defence.

True, but if an AP version of QSS came out it wouldn't really be 2 defensive items - you'd just build 2 normal AP items.

It might give a little less damage than a Rabadons or something, but the AP itemization rework focused on letting players pick the utility they want without sacrificing too much damage.

Also I'm sure it'd only be some fringe cases would the combo be abused like when you get super ahead or something, similar to S2 Riven when you'd get BT then straight to GA

i feel as if the ad zhonyas or dagger of time, should have item 3024 instead of item 2015 because zhonyas gives cdr because of item 3108 as a componant in it instead of the previous item 1058 and plus item 3191 gives armor and so should the dagger of time

Hey Natalie ,

I hate the new recipe I always buy the large rod and then get confused why it doesnt build into zonyas lol >.<

Since zonyas gives armour for mages, I was considering having mr for the ADs, just to balance the items. However item 3155 + item 1038 seems a little too op for the Dagger.

I added your suggestion to the post though, I like making these items a little tankier.
