Akali Twilight Shroud (W) base duration increased from 4/4.5/5/5.5/6 to 5/5.5/6/6.5/7
But why though? This defeats the entire purpose of nerfing this. At the very least remove Obscure to balance her.....PLEASE!

They are doing this because a bunch of changes are coming along with this, they are changing things about the shroud that is actually pretty big:

-Akali shows a "shimmer" of herself briefly after stealthing"

Nevrankroaton2 votesIt change everything about her, it mean you can retaliate with spell and AA once she come out of the shroud and you COULDN'T before. It was insane and with the shimmer you can always properly plan your skillshot or positionning.
And just be aware, we are not talking about just "Akali under tower", it will affect akali shourd OVERALL.
It is huge. You all talk about "obscure" but the real thing obscure does is just allowing insane tower diving tactic. Right now they nerf that AND her shroud overall.

All auto attacks and point and click spells that started the animation before Akali's shroud activated will finiah the animation and land a hit on her. That's what it said.

lil box2 votesI don't understand why people are upset about this change, they're just looking at it and assuming it makes her broken. However I think it's a great idea because it's buffing her in a way that can help while also introducing more counter play when playing against her. Not to mention riot is also talking about possibly removing the ability to hide under the enemy tower while in shroud.

BenLegend4431 votesShe just can't be seen(or selected) by enemy spells or the turret. If the turret shot is already in motion, she'd still get hit by it. If I were to ult her as Karthus, and she shrouds during the channel, she will still take the Requiem damage. I know because I play both champions. She's not broken. Yes, she would be oppressive if you were an ADC, but then ADCs are meant to be deleted by assassins. They're looking into it. Patience, my man.

Śhunpo1 votesFrom what I've gathered from a majority of the replies, you seem to think context matters. No, the other changes will not drastically affect Akali. In fact, so long as Obscure exists she will continue to be batshit insane. Until that aspect of her shroud is gone I will continue to complain about her shroud and any half-assed changes they make to it until the cows come home.

Yes? restealth nerfs result in this? this will drastically affect all the players who previously could not accomplish this. Can I blast her with a skillshot in her shrouds with higher reliability? Yes? Then all the players who couldent because they lost track of her rapidly will benefit from shimmer.
Did you fail to mention that there are negative changes being added into akalis kit? Yes? Then your not making a very unbiased post. Fix it, Edit in the full changes so players who read your post have context.
