If Riot wants to nerf ashe
I would recommend one of two things. Either:
- Nerf the aa reset on q activation (soft nerf)
- Nerf her basic attack range by 25 and give her +25 range when q is active (hard nerf)
thoughts?

Nerf her volley range. Holy fuck that shit is just pure aids. Getting hit by that shit when it shoots out so many arrows and so far is just too much.

Seriously!? Someone is complaining that ASHE is op as fk? I'd look for a gif to express my feelings right now, but unless Ashe learned to do what Yasuo does but by using a Bow instead, then that would be the only way i can see this making sense.
Ashe is just another one of the immobile marksmen who tend to be currently at the moment amongst the numerous marksmen who have a kit that may lack standard escapes, but allows them to be brutal ADCS. This counts for Varus(A charge arrow skill shot that can chunk big damage, A slow field which ALSO applies grievious wounds, a passive stack up that adds extra damage every few shots and a chain root effect for clustered targets), Jhin(Traps, long range root poke a alternative mechanic of 4 shot clips but large damage, especially on the 4th shot which basically auto crits and any crit will give Jhin move speed bonus, plus a insanely good scale power into late game), Miss fortune (passive move speed that lets her race around long as she aint hit, bounce shots, slow field shots, and a wide spread shot.
'HOW' Ashe could thrive so well is her natural slowing mechanic thru her abilities and basic attacks(which i recall is both move and attack speed, if its only the ormer itself, it grants her a strong chase and peel mechanic if done correctly), that also makes her get a scale damage bonus by repeatedly applying autos, meaning as she gains more critical chance, her damage goes up on the autos. While actually applying critical hit attacks will give a stronger frost shot slow apply to the target.
Of course due to her kit, she suffers from the standard, have to rapid fire like any marksmen to deal consistent damage, excluding the ones with special gimmicks like Caitlyn, Lucian and Jhin have to pull out major damage bursts, usually thru a empowered auto via a passive effect, plus having a powerful range to take advantage o it too such as Caitlyn being able to do a long range 'head shot' whenever something hits one of her traps or she hits someone with her knock back net. But like any good 'standard' marksmen, Ashe can brutally shoot down enemies as long as they have distance, they aren't some insanely stacked tank and aren't some ridiculous cc champion who can gap close and utterly ruin your chances of killing them soon as they are on top of you.
If you want champions to be nerfed in the marksmen section, i would rather say Lucian and Miss fortune could use some adjustments to further reduce the growing idea of instead of stacking critical chance and attack speed first on marksmen, that its more viable to stack armor penetration like ghost blade and black cleaver to utterly shred shoot targets then blast shoot them instead via critical hits and rapid fire. I would even say Caitlyn and Jhin(even though i enjoy playing him) could use some long range smack down power tuned back too a bit since she can destroy large chunks of hp even in the mid game on a champion who only built a bit of hp, with relative easy thru the headshot gimmick(even more or kill the champion with the ability to stack the head shot activation and just plain finish the deal with a ultimate auto shot straight in the enemy less someone body blocks for that champion or they got a zhonyas ready to escape it).
As for her Volley, it can only apply the slow, it can't even gain the bonus damage proc thru it and its basically Ashe's way to wave clear faster then rapid fire autos and skill shot targets out of bush hiding. Her Q was pretty much created for the purpose to stop her from getting originally screwed over by champions who were much more ridiculously kit setup better, just like how Tristana is currently with other marksmen, but enough of that. Since her E is her way to detect targets and is on a long cooldown for recharges, it pretty much acts as that one 'not too useful skill' except for map checking and a 'good champion' with powerful gimmicks usually should have them balanced out to be fair and good, not extremely powerful to where they can treat any opponent they face as easy gold fodder to devour all the time...
Either way Volley also only deals ONE of the arrow's damage to a target, subsequent arrows that hit the same target do not apply damage. Likely one of the reasons Volley hits so hard is because its one of the first skills for Ashe to cap to dish out powerful damage, apply slow fast and let autos or Q empowered autos to stack up damage hard against you. Ashe champions i've rarely seen stack E past 1 or Q past 1 in favor of W, since Q's viability is more apparent when you have a larger mana pool and the AD and other necessary items to make the scale bonus actually show an impact in mid to late game then (especially since the scale is like Sona's E, increase by a 1% ratio on what it affects[ With Ashe each arrow gains 1% more AD ratio damage, meaning she's shooting 5 arrows per arrow at 23%~27% of its original AD scaling without any on hit effects to add to it] and she gains attack speed during it based on each of the rank too.
You can once again even say that Ashe's kit can get majorly messed up since E is only for support vision means and Q requires firing 4 shots off first to get the focus necessary to rapid fire, which might not work too well against enemies who quick erase targets fast. Plus as some people say on how to 'counter' Yasuo, keep your distance and don't put yourself in positions to face a 'over powered champion' head on unless you know what your doing to fight against them and not feeding yourself to them instead.

She's been a consistent pick for patches now
no
I though of the Q active not procing on turrets, but oh well.
If you are really going to nerf her base range than the range buff on Q should be a bit bigger.
Maybe reduce her slow somehwat
its frikking aids if your a melee champion
at the start of the game its not that much of an issue but come late game she shreds through your health so fast youll never even able to reach her with that slow before you die
and it applies to everything basic attacks & volleys
If Riot wants to nerf Ashe, I say they should hurry up & get it over with. The sooner they nerf her, the sooner people can shut up about Ashe nerfs.
