With RoA and Tear, his ult. seems to outlast Mundo's and he does a high amount of AoE damage while also being ranged, having CC and being just as tanky in a teamfight.
I realize Mundo falls off due to % Pen/Mortal Reminder and lack of item scaling on his damage but I think he's just outclassed in almost every way by Swain as early as 25 minutes in. The only thing he does better at that point is taking turrets.
mundo has better poke and sticking power
swain should have better sustain when he needs to hit 5 people for the best case scenario and needs a huge mana pool to do it. mundo's % current health cost isn't nearly as taxing as long-term swain ults
After the last round of Mundo nerfs, he has been just a tad on the weak side. For such a huge guy, it's odd he still has 125 AA range while Nautilus, Kench, Darius, Hecarim, Garen, Sion, Trundle, Wukong, Zac, Xin... (need I go on?) have 175 AA range. This is a QoL change Mudno needs because his E feels really lackluster when you can't even use it on someone more than a Teemo away from you.
Mundo can't be bursted down, Swain can if your team focuses him (and gets him with CC when he gets to 50% so he can't Zhonya's). Mundo also has the advantage on not being completely reliant on his healing, where if you hit Swain with Grievous Wounds he is just a sorta beefy mage.

Swain is in a good place now. Any nerfs and you wont see him in games any more.
I love how ppl complain about a champ suddenly being able to compete in a match and yet say nothing about how massively OP broken Zed is or Yasuo who can also 1v5 late game.
Mundo is also way more reliable...
Maybe Swain is overbuffed and need some little nerfs to pur him in balance.
