I'm honestly disappointed about the servers moving

(WARNING LONG AND MESSY POST INCOMING)

No, it's not because my ping is going to go from 37 to 60. I'm not a high level player. I can't tell the difference between 40 to 120 ping .

It's because I have a few friends who live far enough in the pacific to the point that their ping will jump to above 300 (on anything except the luckiest days) where there IS a huge difference in game response (about one whole second between clicking something and it actually happening in game). And they don't really want to play with that delay (I wouldn't either). Nor would they like to go through the entire grind that is leveling up from level 1 to 30 and having to buy all the runes and champions they had on their account if they made an account on the OCE servers (Not to mention how insanely toxic that mess of a server is)

It may sound lame or silly to the majority of you, but getting to play with them was the biggest reason why I still play this game. I actually get to have FUN when I play with them instead of getting angsty teenagers that rage at you and troll your game and afk because you had the audacity to miss a hook or go gank another lane that wasn't theirs.

I'm happy that the majority of you get a better ping which should make for more fair games but honestly, this move to chicago just disappointed me.

Riot, can't you tell me why you can't have BOTH the servers up like a game like Dota? Is there a way people in Hawaii, Japan and Alaska aren't boned because of this move? These are paying customers, it's in your interest to keep them invested in your game to make a better profit. Yes, this move to Chicago is good for the greater amount of people but are you just gonna turn your back on the people it screws over and walk away?

I mean I'm happy as an east coast player but there's nothing you and your friends can do; Riot will move the server no matter what their players say

So they get to have the ping that us east coast people have had for a long time. Also were in the pacific do they live that itll jump that high? Hawaii? Malaysia? the Phillipines? If its Cali it wont be that crazy high, it'll increase but not that crazy.

I love how we people from the east coast have heard "YOUR PING IS NOT AN ISSUE" for years from people from the west coast, and now that servers are moving, suddenly it becomes an issue and west coast players cry about it

Karma really is a bitch ain't she?
