I see these posts all the time, But WHY does surrendering seem long. Complaining with no reasoning wont get things changed from riot. The REASON surrendering feels so long is because (although i don't know the exact numbers) from earlier seasons game averages went from around say 35 to 45 min to 25 to 35min. I think they should lower the surrender # to 15min to compensate.

The game is just way too snowbally now to have the 20 minute mark make sense anymore.

On the one hand, I've been in several games where the enemy team has a MASSIVE advantage and/or one of our allies has disconnected due to internet problems/ragequitting. On the other hand, I've also had games where people starting spamming the surrender option the instant it was available. Even though we were ahead in kills AND objectives AND map control.

MLDzXnRRR1 votesAt least we can surrender. In DOTA the only way to surrender is to ragequit (and then you will enjoy low priority queue for some games). Sometimes you will be locked in a 2 hours games.
CrazyBear19871 votesHow about a compromise? each team starts with 100 points for every death from your team you lose 1 point (5 players x 20 death each = 100) each player capped at 20 points (to avoid feeding and surrender rush) after reaching 100 points team points or after 20-30 mins, then you can choose to surrender.
I understand if your getting wrecked and the game is not fun, and you dont want to add towards the enemy ranks and score. you also cant afk or dc, so your forced to watch the nightmare. feelsbadman, but if too many people surrender after the 15mins mark, the game is unfun regardless.
