Thoughts on Talon's Rework

Ok sure but why··1 votes·457 views

I need to start off by saying I don't know what cooldowns he has. If they're low, great! If they're high, then there is a problem.

First, his Q. Now, I'm the kind of guy who'd prefer to always be next to the target to do the max damage. I liked when it was just a strong auto, and not a part-leap, part-walk-up-close-to-him-and-try-to-q-him-quickly-mid-fight tool.

His W seemed to have gotten a buff against slow/stupid enemies, with more damage on the painfully slow return. I'm okay with this one; reaction time is something everyone needs.

Talon used to be able to E to his enemy, auto him, and then Q him right after for two nice heaps of damage. Now what does he have? One little leap over some walls. I'll address this at the end.

Talon's R seems entirely unchanged, aside from its silly anti-champ, honing-missile function.

This is my problem with your rework. When you told us he needed a change, you said you wanted him to specialise on slaughtering a single target. Do you know what abilities he used to have were against single targets? His 10% damage on auto attacks against slow targets, and his 15% damage against ONE target. And you removed both of those!

When we all heard that you didn't like how he was hurting lots of champs at once, we assumed you were talking about his W and R, yet you didn't do anything about those, except give his W more damage. You hurt his ability to focus single targets, and you hurt them badly.

Good thing I waited for his Prince of Persia skin to go on sale before I bought it; at least it wasn't a complete waste of money.

Nevermind the fact that his new passive deals big damage, or that they've acknowledged Talon is maybe a little weak.

He wasn't weak before. The only problem before was his high cooldown E. He was 100% beautiful with full crit, and they made his autos useless - nothing but a proc for a different ability.

You've misunderstood, they are acknowledging updated Talon on PBE is currently a bit weak. Also if you genuinely think Critalon was healthy...

Critalon went in and got kills. He had none of this "Give them a chance to kill you first!!~" crap.

I don't know how to reason with you :/

Having nothing to say doesn't make you right, son.

Not saying it does.... Just saying if you genuinely think 100-0ing someone out of stealth in 0.45 seconds is healthy, I don't think I can reason with that....

I dunno man. I kinda like his parkour. No more getting caught out with no escape. He basically now has a wall flash every 2 seconds. And I find that I like his PBE damage just fine.
