Why are my teammates in gold worse than lower ELOs?

Like, seriously. Every game I have people feeding, or incompetent junglers who have no objective control and die whenever they gank, or people who have no idea what a teamfight should look like, or anything. Even if I'm 9/1, like last game, I can't do anything because the other lanes are feeding their asses off. I had one enemy nexus tower down, and the other down to one auto, and my team is off picking their asses mid lane feeding more kills to people instead of focusing objectives -- was even worse because it was a 3v4 (two people were trying to stop me), and my team STILL lost.

I've had better teammates when Riot stuck me in bronze this season, and I climbed out of bronze within a couple days. Spent 4,000 games in silver. And now it looks like I'll be spending 5,000 games in gold.

Seems like the higher I climb, the worse my teammates get. Why is that?

Why are you blaming your teammates? The only thing you can control are your own actions and just be consistent in your own play, If you are consistent and doing well than you will continue to climb, bad teammates are at all elo's there is no such thing as elo hell.

I do well nearly every game. Always have. But, when bot lane has fed 20+ kills before 20 minutes, what can I really do? I just get one shot by the fed ADC and jungler. This is a team game, but I never have a team.

silver is the true bronze, gold is the true silver, and bronze is just a playground for smurfs.

4000 games in silver? Sheesh. But gold players are actually better than silver/bronze aside from boosted animals. You just aren't good enough to see the difference in play.

Whether I'm bronze or diamond, my teammates feeding 20 kills bot lane is still the same. I watch LC$ games and see the same mistakes I see in bronze, the same bad calls, the same bullshit carrying, and all that. The only difference between ELOs is a very slight bit of mechanical skill.

Listen you are comparing competitve 5v5 to soloq that right there tells me you are bad, second just because someone has better mechanical skills doesn't make them a higher elo I have seen diamond mechanics in gold but it all comes down to your brain and brain beats skill everytime, you are bad and you wanna take it out on someone but the only problem is yourself dude, I literally just had 2 games in a row where my bot lane fed 20 kills each and giuess what big bad me still carried that shit hard because I dont care that my botlane is 0-20 theyre just meat shields in my eyes, I expect nothing from my team except to maybe just stand there and look pretty , the answer is clear, THE ONLY REASON YOU CANNOT CLIMB IS BECAUSE OF YOUR OWN SKILL, OWN IT pleb.I have also seen people in Diamond with silver mechanics but impeccable Macro skill, which if you think you are a god when you have zero macro skill than you sir are a pleb.

One of my ranked games in Gold this season.

ADC and Support: 9/21 Jungle: 3/10 Top (me): 5/9 Mid: 9/7.

These were the end-game score and both Zed and I managed to get two kills in the last teamfight.

Every single lane on our team (including mine) lost and we spent most of the game turtling near or inside our base clearing waves. With the exception of a couple dragon steals, we couldn't really leave or contest them over objectives or farm.

After we managed to endure two siege attempts while they had Baron buff (while at a gold deficit) and getting aced, we managed to hold on long enough to win a single teamfight inside our base 47 minutes into the game when we were 10k gold behind.

Using that, we managed to push down mid-lane and win the game.

Also had this normal game

Since I had banned Yasuo, our mid-laner (Leblanc) and support (Urgot) decided to troll and intent feed the enemy team (while Urgot screwed with Twitch's CS and basically left him 1v2).

As a result, I just camped top enough to get Jayce fed and we both snowballed enough to carry the game in spite of them.
