Said the enemy as his Q W 1 shot her after she ran into a stun he was insanely obviously baiting her into..

Funny thing was he was 0/3/0 at a point with near negative CS. He was being absolutely dominated everytime he came into lane vs her (was a riven mid btw not veigar top)

She went with her normal build path instead of getting a maw or cowl (until near the end of the game) and cried when she started dying a lot 30+ minutes into the game vs a Veigar.

Even more so funny she HAD the ability to end the game. They were ahead enough and punishing us hard to the point we couldn't do squat. They chose to let the game go on longer (i'm guessing so yi could get sated?) and we ended up winning

Tl;dr 1)Stop dragging games out vs a late game champ and you'll see better results

Riven takes a massive amount more skill than Viegar, grats on the success you are finding with your extremely safe champion.

Oh yea riven has to manage mana...oh. Well she does have long cooldowns....oh. But her kit is also very restricting like Gnar with his passive or how vayne is completely single target focused or ekko with his predicting...oh she's not? Ok lol. Stop acting like riven is hard lmao

She takes much more skill to play than Viegar.

3 games with Viegar and you are decent, it takes a lot of games with riven to be decent (weeks or months of dedication, not one afternoon). I do not really care one way or the other. I do not play either of those champions very much, but to be so salty as to suggest the skill level is any where close to the same is just a little bit ridiculous.

Anyone who owns her and locks her in can play her. Playing her well is a completely different story. Playing any melee squishy into a high damage hard cc mage is difficult on its own.

In this thread, you yourself told us that a fed Riven was deleted by a under farmed under level 0 - 3 Viegar. With a lead that massive Riven should not be forced to build mr to counter the mid laner she has already invalidated.

That Riven had near negative magic resist until the game was about to end also yes, you should have to build a defensive item if you don't want to take damage from said person.

Ex. I can be 0/10/0 and you can be 10/0/0 but if you have negative armor as opposed to my 200 AD you're going to get a shit ton of damage done to you.

She could've easily built a banshee or QSS or even just ended the game but refused to.

If I am 10 - 0 and you are 0 - 10, I will not need to build a defensive stat to delete you instantly. I will be multiple levels ahead of you and have a massive item advantage.

Yes it is, but Riven has a shield that scales off of her AD. Building cdr and Ad allows Riven to not need defensive stats nearly as quickly as most champions. Riven must be ahead to be useful, building defensive stats puts her behind. Shielding damage correctly and not just using her shield to close distances is part of learning how to play riven well.

Honestly she isn't hard nor to play neither to master,but she isn't easy because she's melee carry in high elo for the same reason master Yi and trynda aren't easy

Oh please. Like anything in this game takes skill. 5 games on Riven and you're at least gold tier.

Mana doesn't make a champion harder, there are some champions with mana that rarely go oom other than during long fights anyways.

Riven does take a good amount more skill than Veigar, but obviously you still need some skill to play him, and even more to master.

Normally I don't defend Riven, but to be fair, all veigar does is farm AP and gold for laning phase and then when 6 comes does a shitload of damage with a single button press. He doesn't even have to actually do his combo. He can try to poke you down to like half health and then flash and ult.

Riven is indeed easier to pick up but has a steeper learning curve than veigar does. Veigar is sort of tricky at first until you start getting used to his animation speeds and range of his abilities, after that you just re apply what you learned in almost every case scenario. I really do hate riven but I can tell you she takes more work than veigar to master her animation cancels to maximize your dps, a riven who does not know how to do that properly will probably end up feeding or just turn into a dead weight fed champion.

In the bright side veigar can just sit in lane all day farming ap where as riven has to get ahead early and if she fails at snowballing she will be useless late game. That is where the steep learning curve comes in, you just don't pick riven to pick her but you pick her because you know you are going to get fed.
