Why veigar's ulti costs 125 mana and not 100?

It actually does. Scaling with 100% AP 225 AND to mention 80% of the targets AP. Tell me that's not going to be alot. You have let's say maybe just 300 AP. Then you walk up to a fed Xerath or something and blast him with R. It's surely going to bring him to half HP or more

Probably an oversight, similar to how Sona's Ult cost was only recently made 100.

Almost died just a little bit ago due to the ult cost, expected it to be 100 and was just a few off. Luckily i was only a couple mana away and was able to kill them. Though 125 mana isn't bad really, after a certain point in the game it doesn't matter too much.
