Tank Supports-Ap Supports
Tank:Take Taric for example...he is a tank support...why are his abilities mostly ap ?
Level 5 W shields for 12% of targets total hp (+20% of your total ap xd are you kidding?) ...come on...you will most of the time shield an adc.. for what? 250shield ? in the meta we are in right thats nothing.....assassins,burst mages..yasuo :(
I really really like tanky supports...i just wanna go in and also protect my adc..but i just think that with the scalings most tank supports have you simply cant do your job right
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ap: Not ap supports like Zyra Velkoz and champs like them,im talking about supports like Soraka or Janna and Sona? (not sure if support or broken ap that will oneshot your adc when she buys 2 items)
Why dont they give you resources? like mana or energy? i dont know like 10/20/30/35/40 mana? For example Janna, when she shields you you get mana too,im not a veteran in this game but if im not mistaken soraka used to give mana with her heal or something? Since janna is a pure support shouldnt she give you mana ? i mean she is there to support you and nothing else...i cant see the reason why not
Are all viable with Taric, helped along by his AP scaling.
first item was beautiful on taric pre rework as the enemies were either building damage both the ap support and adc or defense armor first for tank supports taric shreds armor and does magic damage and supports provide more damage early than adcs so defending verusus the mage support first was most effective. the stealing of mr at a time when adcs didnt take mr runes at all was beautiful as you did near true damage to them and mage supports if you got fed enough to have the enemy die twice in lane you got wits end first i 2v1ed a support and adc between their inner tower and other tower on the way back to lane in several games.
you could provide armor penetration (the range for that spell was shorter than the indicator) and provide armor to more than one ally (the range may have refered to how far allies can get armor rather than enemies get damage in which case there should have been 2 indicatiors ) your heal actually did some thing (rather a concentrated single target heal than a useless aoe heal that in theory could heal the same amount under several conditions but still doesnt help when used
