Does Sion ult deal damage to towers ?

It's not in the description of the skill itself, but I've seen it numerous times : Sion players "last hitting" towers with their ult, dealing a huge amount of damage. Not sure if I was dreaming, because it was more than once. Can anyone answer this to me ? :D

It does, but unless you go full AD it's really weak IMO. I wish they would adjust it to be a more viable strategy for tank builds.
