Judge people off the quality of their comment not their elo.

Elo is a good reference point for the worth of someones comment. For instance it is most likely that a Bronze player's comment on gameplay balance isn't going to be as accurate/good as a Diamond player's comment on balance, but that does not apply in all scenarios. I've read diamond players having fits about total non issues and Bronze players can easily recognize balance issues.

It's the same for helpful tips. I've been told "I'm not listening to a silver 5 scrub" when i'm literally just regurgitating advice from high elo players who have wrote guides.

You should care more about the quality/content of a post/comment than the author who wrote it.

This isn't really a problem on the boards imo, its just in game, I'm not going to explain myself to other players. It just takes too long. I'm just going to mute them while most people decide to insult. It isn't like I expect a good reply either way.

XquickscoperXx420: WTF HEXDRINKER KAT? ARE YOU TROLLING?

Me: Kat's passive ramps up AP over the game, while AD has a flat value. That combine with the passive and stats that hexdrinker gives you, there isn't a better mr alternative that is as efficient in the early game as hexdrinker. Banshees takes to long to build, isnt as gold efficient, and may have the passive wasted as I'm in melee ranged when I'm fighting. Banshees is more situational in my opinion. Hexdrinker's passive even scales later into the game with its shield. The amount of stats it gives me against their AP midlaner and AP jungler is just too much to pass up at this point in the game. AD especially is great early game because auto attacks have alot of damage to them. Especially if I opt to take an AD rune page setup, so my autos are doing alot of damage. On top of that, Kat's E has a auto attack reset to it, allow me to get off plenty of autos. Not only do her autos and passive do well with ad, but her shunpo even scales off of AD. It becomes hard to build against Katarina because she's doing plenty of magic and physical damage. Throw in ignite and you're doing 3 types of damage. Do you know see why I chose to make hexdrinker?

Also, Kat has Ad ratios on everything but her Q, and they're mostly decent or better. So it's not like AD is a wasted stat on her either.

not a problem on the boards? really? what boards are you visiting so i can actually go there. Board is literally filled with Elo elitist who will only listen to whatever a high elo player says. Also filled with high elo players that think that everything they say is right and if anyone lower ranked than them says anything they just immediately shot them down by saying things like "you are Silver X, shut up"

In game is also not the place to literally write a gigantic paragraph since most people won't even be able to see what you wrote in it's entirety unless they stop and painstakingly read every word which means he is just literally a free kill for the enemy team. So yeah, if you came with me with that sort of unnecessarily long paragraph while in game i would tell you to shut up since that does nothing at all for my question. In game you either ignore people or condense what you are going to say significantly so that it fits one or two sentences (short ones at that)

Link me a post with people bashing each other elo's, high vs low, so I can give you a thumbs up. It probably wont be much worse than anything else I see on an unrelated post lol

If all I said was, Hex was a good early game item for kat because of her scalings, it wouldnt have helped much

It's most definitely a problem on the boards tbh.

That being said, anything League related is going to be cancerous and dumb.

My friend: -Dia 2 on Euw after a 20 game winning streak from Dia 5 onwards. Soloq. -Rank 30 Challenger on TR, with 600 LP.

(All last season, he has internet problems so ye, he quit...)

-"Orianna is totally fine and doesnt deserve nerfs." -"Master Yi is the most broken Champion in the game and doesnt take any skill. He doesnt have any counterplay and its a freewin when you pick him. Also Cowsep is only Dia thanks to Yi." -"Cho'gath is fucking useles and will never be LCS picked" (Said it before the buffs, when i started to play Cho'Gath after Stoneplate release.)

Well ye, even a really good player can have opinions that are quite irritating. Elo is a reference point. The worth of an argument isnt decided by it, just like you said. At the same time, if a Bronze 5 with 10% Winrate tells me to get Exe Calling as an AD Champ, when noone got it, against a full healing Comp and he says its good against them, im going to get it, because hes right. But if a Challenger player that i met doesnt want to get Mortal Reminder against 4 Healing Champs, because he thinks, 20% extra Dmg to tanks is more worth, i will think hes wrong.
