Please, rename Riven's "Edge" passive

I'm not a fan of the changes I'm seeing on the PBE, and I'm fairly certain they're a direct nerf to my favorite champion, but I'm not a math whiz, and I can't effectively crunch numbers to determine how nerfed she is by the changes. However, the name of her resource has nothing to do with Riven herself as a character any more than "Bloodrage" matched with Darius.

Since Yasuo, ironically, has both "Resolve" and "Intent" as names for his passive and "Flow", I can't pull from those, but what about something that fits Riven's story and ability as a willful, determined fighter who fights and seeks to bring change to Noxus? Something like...

Will, Willpower, Strength, Spirit, Mastery, Focused Blade, Determination, Steadfast Blade, Purpose, Resolution, Impact, and Force

...would all match her personality, her character, and the fantasy of playing this strong fighter who seeks to overcome any obstacle in her path through sheer resolve and belief in her abilities.

"Edge" does none of that, and instead opens her up to the notion that she's meant to be "edgy", which in this environment is not a positive association. Please, if you consider nothing else, consider this change. It would, at least, make the transition more bearable.

I've explained in length about how the resource should be named

"Ki" instead of "Edge". Edge makes no sense.

Ki means Energy. It is the Korean pronunciation of the Chinese character Qi, which means Energy.

One of her abilites is Ki Burst

I think the main reason why Riot didn't use the word Ki is because the four ninjas and Lee Sin already use Energy. And as you said, Ki and Energy are basically the same. Actually, they're just different words for the same thing.

Even more so, those ninjas and Lee Sin would probably have a bigger claim to the resource named Ki than Riven. After all, while Riven does indeed have Eastern motifs, the other side consists of four ninjas and a monk. Shen's passive is also called Ki Strike, although I have to admit it's kind of funny how the ability which grants him extra energy while costing none is the one named Ki Strike.

And since this new resource works fundamentally different from the resource used by the five Energy Champions, it wouldn't really work to add Riven to the list of Energy users either.

Personally I don't see why Riot doesn't just make use of the fact that the passive is called Runic Blade. Call the resource Runic Power or something and you're done. I'd suggest Focus except Ashe already has that on her Q.

Hmmm...

Runic Charge, Concentration, Weight.

EDIT: although personally I don't really mind Edge that much. It's not like people aren't going to make fun of stuff they encounter in video games anyway. Riven is no exception, and this would just make her a slightly easier target. And after the initial wave of jokes that would probably also die out.

I'm pretty sure when they decided on 'Edge' it was partially to mean 'Riven has an edge on her opponent' and partially 'lul guyz rievn so edgy get it?'.

Edge makes sense, in the context of 'an advantageous position'. Is the Edge bar full? Riven has a huge edge over you. If it's low, she doesn't have as much of an edge.

Then "Advantage" could also work, and doesn't have the negative connotation.

Matter of personal preference, but I think Edge is better than Advantage. And it's less of a mouthful to say.

We can rename it to Brokenness. Don't let Riven hit max brokenness or her ult will cleave you in two!
