@Meddler what do you think about the current state of titanic hydra?

Good item, bad item? Too good/must buy when it is good?

I don't really see anyone building it anymore... Is it just a failed item concept? It seemed like an attempt at making a healthy atma's impaler but it also gave waveclear which probably made it busted.

After the 15 ad nerf and the removal of the swap with ravenous hydra it seemed like everyone stopped buying it. The item was core on shen and now no one plays shen anymore... coincidence?

Now that devourer is gone, is it possible that it could be buffed? At the moment, it seems most champions will just build black cleaver if they want an hp/ad item. And when you consider that bc is both 400g cheaper, gives 20% cdr, and gives massive armpen against whoever youre targeting for your whole team, i can see why.

Do you think titanic is in need of buffs, or do you think it is in a fine spot?
