Is Akali an assassin or a bruiser?

"Bruiser" is not a class. It refers to any champion that has a kit that is based around dealing damage, yet is building defensive items. In certain metas Akali has been a bruiser, even though she is of an Assassin class. The "Tank" Ekko and "Tank" Fizz builds were also bruiser builds, it's just people used the wrong term to describe them.

To put it simply bruiser is a build, Assassin is a class.

Just because she's an assassin doesn't mean she can't have heals. Sure her current iteration isn't the healthiest, but when she gets a VGU, her niche can be an assassin with healing capabilities.
