Master Yi with Sated + Titanic Hydra is crazy good

Pretty much, you build him to be more on-hit than crit based. Titanic Hydra does almost as much damage (with a crazy burst when you activate it) as Ravenous Hydra, but gives you an amazing amount of health to keep you alive and kicking in the middle of a teamfight.

I won't get too much into how crazy everything is when you mix it with his passive + Sated Devourer, but I will show you an example build I very much enjoy (that will make you crazy strong even if you are behind in the early game).

This build will allow you to shred people in seconds/near instantly (whether they are a tank or a squishy), keep them in your auto range, give you massive sustainability/survivability in teamfights, and split pushing power that is absolutely insane.

Tanky Assassin Yi. Sounds stupid? It really is.

Try it before Riot nerfs Titanic Hydra.

I preffer item 3930 / item 3931 item 3748 item 3153 item 3078 item 3742 item 3111 Later, sell Boots for item 3172 Its not that Tankyiy, but does GREAT Dmg, and still is a Bruiser. its Important to know that with Full Build, You shouldn't try 2 reset the Autoattacks with Titanics. Try 2 Activate Sheen, Dead mans Plate and Titanic 4 Burst on first hit. (About 600-1000) After that just act like a Bruiser and try 2 kill Carries, or even their Whole Team. U deal "some" Dps.

That's a lot of HP for 0 resists, making it not that efficient. And to synergize with lifesteal, you're usually better off with resists than pure health.

This is basically Yi's only way to build and be effective in my opinion. He is too squishy without these items. I build him a hybrid of the two:

item 3930 item 3006 item 3153 item 3748 item 3031 item 3022 This gives him good health and great offensive capabilities, plus an extra basic attack timer reset with Titanic Hydra. I only get Infinity Edge for critical chance since Yi ends up with around 2.5 attack speed with this build during ultimate, so he should critically strike at least once or twice per target, dealing around 1000 damage. This is adjustable based on the enemy team comp, but this is the standard build for me. Getting Cleanse instead of Flash might be a viable choice so Yi can't be stopped during his ultimate.

A Yi I played a game with had a build similar to that, except I think a PD was in there instead of the mallet. Either way, I've never seen one champ carry so hard in my life. He ended with some 30 kills and got 2 pentas in the last 5 minutes of the game. While he was in their base.

"Glass cannon" This isn't even a Glass cannon. You can take a lot of hits and heal it all up near immediately (thanks to BoTRK). He actually becomes about as tanky as your average bruiser.

But here's the thing; YOU MELT MOTHERFUCKERS AND THEY CAN'T ESCAPE YOUR DANCE OF DEATH.

Seriously, that is not the case with this build. Not even close.

Just try it out before making hasty assumptions. Also.. don't go full retard (playing like a drunk Bronze) and then blame the build for not doing the impossible. Still play smart. Then compare and contrast him with other champs to recognize how strong he is.

Remember: No build, no matter how good, can fix stupid.

Titanic Yi <3 But srsly this Yi has a complete different Playstyle then Assassin Yi. You Need to understand that. You can go in whenever you want. The only weakness is that he has little to no Sustain in Fights, and CC is still bad. Just not that bad.

I built him with item 3748 item 3153 item 3111 item 3931 item 3068 item 3071 it worked really well and gave me extremely good split push power i could also just meditate at 30% - 40% hp and gain like 700 to 900 health :D

I'd replace the Sunfire Cape; it doesn't synergize with Yi almost at all. If you want armor and health, go Randuins or Deadman's Plate.

Yeah after looking at it, it makes more sense to build Randuins instead of Sunfire cape since sunfire benefits mostly from champs that go full tank. :) or that has an aura like: Amumu DrMundo Shyvana Sejuani

my favorite build is sated/bork/berserk boots/titanic/deadmans/steraks. you end up pretty tanky and can still 3 shot the enemy adc, my kda with this build is probably around 11:1 over 50 games with this build.

I prefer the original build the op had but instead of frozen mallet replace that with Guinsoos

Yeah. I think Yi rushing item 3931 into item 3124 is the best choice now. When Titanic was new, though, it was the best choice for him. Now I don't know if I'd recommend it or not; Yi just does so much dmg that I think he doesn't need Titanic. I also haven't played in months (I hate this season), so I haven't tested Titanic with him in the new season.

I think BoTRK is only necessary if they have some seriously tanky people on their team, now. Personally, I'd just use whatever Cowsep is using. He seems to know what he is doing.

Nice build its very similar to my thunder god rammus build. Which i think might be better on yi. It goes boots(your choice im not sure the best) sated,titanic,steraks,triforce,dead mans. At the end i sell boots for a static shiv. If you crits and use all active with dead mans and static procs you will one shot any one under 2300 hp
