that's not at all what they said.

he has a 2% pick/ban rating, so yeah the people that play him regularily are probably good with him, un popular picks almost always have skewed winrates.

in context jinx has a 53.4% winrate and a 33% pick ban rate sooooo.

This.

Have you ever seen someone picking Heimer without having any idea how to play him?

he's a safe pick that has a surprising amount of utility?

I mean, in high elo, ppl aren't always chasing hard for kills, they are more objective focused, and heimer has good zone control, which allows his team to set up for fights and put the enemy at a disadvantage should they chose to engage.

So what you're saying is in high elo, the only elo that matters, he needs nerfs

no, I just said that he synergizes well with the strategies currently popular in high elo. He isn't overbearing or painful to play against, just useful in the right hands.

He also has plenty of downsides. While strong against soft dive comps, he and his team can still fall prey to dive comps with good aoe, as that usually clears his normal turrets quickly. Also, teams with strong disengage are great at kiting the enemy around, and heimers don't like to leave their nest, so if the enemy is kiting, then heimer is either forced to move or his team can be out rotated on.

In addition, Heimer has trouble laning against champions that can kill turrets faster than he can build them. (Jayce, Nidalee, anyone else with really strong poke)

... I can't tell if you're joking, or have a bad habit of putting words into people's mouths.

Until he becomes a viable competitive (the only elo that actually matters) pick, he remains.

Heimerdinger isn't actually a troll pick? ;-;

His turrets destory dragons and baron, and hard to engage team when there are 3 turrets there, its like 8 vs 5!

graggy is definitely a heimer's worst nightmare. ;)

Heimer's easy, no matter what lane he's in. Just counterpick with Sion.

Heimer is a good champion, he just needs a few adjustments.

  1. Lower the amount of damage turrets do and increase their health so they don't die as quick.
  2. Increase the damage of the rockets and stun duration of the grenades to compensate for the lowered turret damage.

If you did this, he would be more of a skill based champion and we wouldn't have to continue to hear about how he is "a no skill champion".
