It's stupid , not only he is mega kiteable but u also lose against all bruiser and Jaggernauts and some mages like Vladimir 1v1, even if u hit magically all abilities. U also lose against tanks which is why quite irritating. Shen should not be able to beat Garen 1v1

Muzen4 votesyou're playing it wrong then... i can win most lanes with garen unless it's an adc top that doesn't get ganked(maybe). you need to know what runes to bring to each matchup and also. you must know how the other champion works. but then again i was 14-0 lat match and STILL got trolled -_-
AlienPrimate2 votesThere is a reason that Garen's passive exists. In the early game he can go for risky trades and look like he lost the trade up front but his sustain when managing his passive turns a lost trade into a won trade 20 seconds in the future.

You're right on one point, at least. At the moment, Garen Mid is a lot better than Garen Top.

Ragnaveil1 votesYes, and when the changes come in, he will be able to 1v1 since his R will now be a true execute it should have been (the villain mechanic was such a blunder), and his E will deal more spin damage. Although he will still get outclassed by shit like Darius. Makes me wonder why they wont give Garen a second passive on his passive. Darius has one, Morde has one, you get the point. Aatrox could use one even (not anything that is straight broken, just helpful shit).
