Statistically On Yasuo You Will Have More Deaths Than Kills, Maybe He Should Be Given MR Per Level

If you look at Yasuo in any lane, Top, Mid etc he has some of and often the most deaths out of everyone.

What does this show? well its shows that even some of the best most experienced players in the game can't play Yasuo without on average dying more than getting kills.

It doesn't help that Yasuo is only 1 of 2 melee champions that don't have scaling MR per level, this is a stupid bad balanced mechanic for champions.

Yasuo as a champion is basically an ADC with no range, this present the problem when vs certain champions, such as Darius, where and ADC could kite or be peeled, the only way for a Yasuo to damage then is to be in melee range.

Yasuo is a champion you have to play to a high mechanical skill just to do okay to good, meanwhile a high mechanical Draven for example gets far more rewarded than a high mechanical Yasuo.

Yasuo could really use with some more survive ability, to actually make him not just die instantly.

Don't say his shield because let be honest its one of the worst shields in the game:

*It lasts 1 sec,

*Get taken down from taking any damage so is easy to proc

*Takes travelling 33% of the map to get back (this is base to just past 1st mid tower (20-25 secs or so)

*He has no control over it, oh look i got my shield.... and its gone.

I don't want to live in a world where the average Yasuo player can consistently do well

I want to live in a world were a top tier Yasuo doesn't still die consistency even when they are doing really well.

This buff would barely 1% help bad players, but would help good players to not die as easily.

I want to live in a world where instead of becoming a designer for Rito, CertainlyT became a time travelling assassin and went back in time to prevent world war2.

But we can't always have what we want and unfortunately I live in a world where Yasuo is a thing that exists. Given this, I would prefer him to be as utterly worthless as possible.

Yas is still stupidly strong once he gets an item so even having 10 deaths more than anyone is still a threat with someone who is decently skilled. His winrate is also not below average and there's more to winning games than KDA

I have never i'm all my years of playing this game seen a Yasuo come back from 0/10 when he gets one item, he does not work in that manner at all, honestly hes probably the opposite, its very easy for a Yasuo that 10/0 to fall because other champion got there 1 item.

Lol wut? Maybe bad Yasuo players fall behind like this, good ones 1/2v3/4/5 all day.

No, just no, show me games were high level players vs high level players are ever able to do this, this is only possible if you have a diamond vs full bronze 5.

if you have the best Yasuo in the world vs challenger solo queue players he will never be able to 1 vs 3 / 4 / 5, maybe 1 vs 2 if he seriously out plays but even then.

Flaherty1 votes

Only possible if it's a diamond vs all bronze 5? Are you actually serious? It must be an extremely different set of players in EUW because a 10/0 Yasuo can EASILY 1v2 two players of equal skill if they aren't also massively fed. Yasuo's damage scales incredibly hard with items.

Also here's a video showing a Plat 1 Yasuo 1v3 people his skill level. I looked up the players in the game and they're all high plat to low diamond. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVyGFnscp7A

That's plat, i said Challenger for example, maybe bronze was abit of an exaggeration, but you get my point in proper high elo, you wont really ever see it.

At that level of skill you won't be seeing anyone 1v3 with any champion..

it made sense when people asked for shen and signed to get it because they are tank. yas has his windwall and a passive shield, he is fine

Except as i said in my post, his shield is actually crap if you think about it, (its not like a Kassadin passive which is always there) it barely there and when it is there the enemy can get rid of it so easily its stupid.

His WW also has a 26 sec cooldown, you can use any ranged ability 2-3 times in the time, so it offer tons of counter-play, its like knowing the enemy flash is down, you take advantage same with Yasuo WW.

If you think his shield is such crap, I will gladly accept a change that gets rid of it in exchange for him getting more base MR.

The truth is his shield is only crap if you're not thinking. Because of it, anybody that has to keep their distance from him, can rarely do damage to him (which is ironically most mages aka the people he would need MR for).

Also, if it's true that he's one of only 2 melee champs that don't get scaling MR, I think the real problem is that between Yasuo, Fiora, Gangplank, Tryndamere, and Master Yi, the fact that any of them getting scaling MR is annoying considering they're essentially melee versions of adcs. They shouldn't be getting free tankiness.

Yes but you have to remember Range > Tankiness its far better to never be in range to be hit at all than it is to be to take damage but be tanky.

Except they SHOULD be getting some tankiness exactly for the reason that they are melee and don't have the safety of "traditional" ranged ADCs. That being said, they do get some tankiness and or sustain already from their kits, and build a few tanky items anyways.

Yasuo already gets enough free stats. If you want MR, then buy it.

boss100001 votes

Except every other melee champion in the game gets MR per level, and you can't use free stat he gets is Crit and that requires him to buy crit anyway to get, compare that any other champion and its less than other champions.

RIven - Free AD with 0 items form level 1 Darius - Free AD with bleed stack from level 1

Meanwhile Yasuo has to buy 2 crits items to beat Tryn, to point out a Tryn will have more cirt chance than Yasuo until he hits the 0.5 crit item, other wise a tryn with PD/SS will have more cirt than yasuo and Trun doesn't have reduced crit damaeg like yasuo does.

his kit is fusterating, if he gives up something fine.

While I strongly defend the fact that Yasuo's at a good spot... actually why am I starting with this? Yasuo's at a good spot, and I guess he doesn't get MR for a reason. Look, Yasuo's always going to get MR at some point, hell, I usually buy Merc Treds above all other boots (partially also for the tenacity). Plenty of items work extremely well for him, from Maw to Guardian Angel. He's already pretty oppressive towards most skillshot reliant mages. He has his shield. He has his Windwall. He has to damage to even face off against some of his mage counters (I call them counters, but it's more like skill match-ups that are skewed towards their (the mages) favor) like Annie, Malzahar, or Swain should the player behind be skilled enough compared to the other player.
