it's almost like they removed mpen glyphs from the game at the same time so there's almost no actual change

You know, except LeBlanc uses Sudden Impact - After exiting stealth or using a dash, leap, blink, or teleport, dealing any damage to a champion grants you 10 Lethality and 8 Magic Penetration for 5s on a 4s CD.

Although now that I read it, she wouldn't actually get it until after her QW in lane combo meaning she only would have access to it for the E or she would have to WQE hmm.

there also aren't any flat % damage increases on ability damage from runes/masteries now

if you really want the issue with why things feel like they do so much damage, it's more to do with runes proccing for more damage but on a higher cooldown -- e.g. scorch is a fuckton of damage (like 30 at level 1?) but the CD is 20s. Electrocute is literally 50 flat at level 1 with better AD/AP scaling than thunderlord's (thunderlord's was 10 per level), but electrocute's level 1 CD is 50 seconds and thunderlord's was 25. etc.

like straight up, scorch does more damage than thunderlord's used to for the first few levels of the game on a similar CD

Yes, those runes leblanc will never take over inspiration or sorcery secondary.

Do you even know how to look up rune winrates?

EDIT: And I mean things that are literally always on, like the old double edged- sword, sorcery, etc.

While you are correct that Magic pen is hard to get, She has old burst patterns so MR is not as effective on her as a typical ap champion.

??? MR is better against burst than sustained. If you have enough MR to live with 1% health against an assassin she is useless. Having like 60 MR (basically just merc treads) means unless she is INCREDIBLY fed she isn't going to just kill you with QRW and she actually has to hit the chain meaning there is much more room to play around. Having a MR against something like Cassio or Azir usually just delays the inevitable (Adaptive Helm excluded).

Never said it wasn't. What i mean is her dmg goes through the Mr. Ive built both item 3111 and item 3102 and she's cut through it quit easily. I am not really complaining about her i do not really care. 1 of 3 things usually happens in my games anyways. I ban her, someone else bans her, or someone dodges if she makes it through banning.

Id argue Magic pen is easier to get, Void staff is a near 3k gold cost item that gives you nearly 50% magic resist pen and a good amount of ap. A Mage's standard shoes give pen, so does Morello (Albeit Morello kinda sucks dick in some matches).
