Regardless of Tier, Freelo is Freelo. Honestly, it's like when people hear Freelo, they think it just applies to Plat+.

but tier is relevant in this case. it's like how malphite and amumu are low elo freelo since low elos can't position for shit so you get 5-man ults all the time. the higher you go the less people clump up for stuff like that.

you won't be punished in lower tiers since they'll never counterjungle or aggressively gank.

the higher you go, you won't be allowed to sit and scale up.

What rank? cuz at gold/plat elo it still worked, not for reasons u mentioned, but the lack of CC for a Yi.

that's called you either picking yi late in to the draft against a low CC comp or them just not drafting hard CC, since yi just ignores slows.

I noticed it more in diamond where people actually have an idea of what they're doing, golds and plats are generally just clueless.
