Warwick's E may spell doom

Not too long ago, Annie's E was converted to % Damage Reduction instead of flat defenses. The same goes for Warwick's new E.

I'm afraid what this may mean in terms of the upcoming tank update. Maokai and Alistar already have % Damage Reduction, so it's not unreasonable to see it on more tanks. Perhaps Riot has no plans to balance penetration items at all, in preparation for most if not all tanks having %Damage Reduction to counter it. They may even include this on new tank items, as Phantom Dancer shows it can be put on items.

We've seen in the past that rather than remove new items or revert items to old stats, they'll add new ones.

Hopefully I'm wrong. Hopefully assassin items will see the same fate as Runeglaive. But if not, the tank update is going to be terrible for everyone involved.

Side note: The silver lining is maybe they'll finally decide whether to delete Ohmwrecker or make it a viable item.
