Fun Fact: Fed assassins still kill people. (Not a balance discussion)

Now im not gonna speak on if they are even since thats not what this is about. However I had someone SPECIFICALLY say a 5/0 Zed cant one-combo an ADC. And well... nope.

At this time I was 0/1/0 And was about to finish Runnans. Zed was 5/1 off a Rakan mid, and had duskblade and 2 longswords.

Note: This isnt a discussion on ADCs being OP, or Assassins being too strong. Just a post to showcase something that people dont believe anymore: "Assassins while fed can assassinate"

Thank god a class is balanced only once they get fed a bunch of kills and are completely worthless before then.

I dont play assassins. I been paying too close attention to actual balance lately.

This is only a comment on how i have seen people believe fed assassins cant assassinate, which is not true. Nothing less, nothing more.

yeah, pointless discussion because when the board talks about something or when riot talks about something it's always even vs even match up

assassins are beyond garbage at assassinating, the only good ones are decent in high elo if they can help the team through roaming like talon

The assassins on this board like to claim they should be able to enter a 5 man team, kill their most valuable member, and escape. They should not. They also like to think that if they are alone with an enemy squishy they should win automatically. They should not.

Considering their job is to blow up an unguarded ADC, i'd say its pretty fair that they annihilate a lone ADC (Except maybe the ADCs that have some of their power budget in escaping or dueling)

Honestly my problem is if they think they should win NO MATTER WHAT. Like "Im sorry I had both sums, you had none. You ganked from a well warded area that i saw you from a mile away. AND i landed my 1 CC move on you before you got close. Then kited you until you died. Why? Because i played it right, and if you got within 300 units of me i was gone."

NO ONE is arguing that an Assassin should have the ABILITY to kill an ADC. Just that the notion they should be able to do it for FREE is asinine.

If your playing something such as Ashe or MF, not being able to do much to prevent an assassin from getting on you (Without team support), is actually a part of their weakness and those should be essentially free kills (Especially considering that they shouldn't be pushing solo against that assassin in the first place)

True but in my analogy. Summoner spells make them a lot harder to get onto and kill.

Also i never really see people complaining about MF or Ashe blowing assassins up. Its usually Tristana, Twitch, Draven, etc. I mean MF can but she doesnt really have as much damage output as other ADCs till later.

My point is if an ADC plays perfectly they shouldnt die simply because they were against an Assassin.

If they time cooldowns, avoid abilities, engage when there's pressure, land all their abilities, while not being too far behind I see no reason why they shouldn't.

Also there's actually not a lot of people that share that opinion. Most assassin players are pretty smart.

"Most assassin players are pretty smart." Entirely baseless. You could say any class is smart... Im not saying that they are NOT smart. But like. you could say "Bruisers are smart" or "Junglers are smart" or "Marksman are smart" and none of which matter in a discussion since its supposed to be educated anyway.

Also a big issue is you are saying that the assassin did everything right. Then yes 1v1 they should win however. There is a difference between playing well... And winning "automatically"

Your comments on people believing that assassins should be able to kill everyone is entirely baseless. Most assassin players don't think like that only the bad ones.

Edit: Actually I guess your comment is just for low elo people because you mentioned low elo numerous times. No point in talking than really.

Yes they should "if there is an opportunity". The problem is that there is never an opportunity because items like Locket and Janna shield/ult are used to react to the assassis xd

Because people want to beleive that Assassins are all garbage no matter what "Once ahead we still cant kill people" so they get mad buffs and run rampant

Marksman do too much damage, thanks to midseason buffs. Supports block too much damage, thanks to the supports powercreep in S7.

These 2 are NOT the same thing, but their combo breaks the game into peaces.

Both should loose some 2-3% of their power, resulting in about 7-8% loss for the duo as a whole, as bot lane goes by 'The whole is stronger than the sum of it's parts' principle.

I agree the 2 as a whole is the problem.

At the same time though i dont mind the Support powercreep in S7, I dont have the statistical data, but people are most likely actually playing support now.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of love for supports.

But they went the wrong way. Instead of giving them more playmaking tools that encourage roaming and active play, they get more stats.

That zed wouldn't have gone through Janna's shield, heal, bonus armor and mr, redemption and locket. None of which can be outplayed.

Considering everyone in the game was around 1 item... yes he couldve killed me with Janna there. He played it very well mind you.

No offense, but this seems kinda like lower elo where the support isn't covering the adc in shields. I have 2 other account, 1 in plat 1 the other in diamond 3 and I never see the support leave the adc's side. That zed did a perfect combo btw.. That was very clean.

I was indeed Queuing with some bronzish friends. Personally i am Silver 1.

And it was really clean however i was just clearing a big wave bot alone and Zed came up. Even with a support that early i was SUPER dead.

Im just saying a 5/0 Zed can and will still kill an ADC because i have seen THIS SCENARIO in particular come up and people say that Assassins cant assassinate when fed.
