[P] Gem of Balance: Taric passively gains a bonus of 15% for any bonus armor and magic resist.

[Q] Gem of Life: Taric heals himself for a large amount or both himself and a target ally. This ability will be scaled with how much Magic Resist and health Taric has.

[W] Gem of Protection: Taric passively gains bonus armor and gives bonus armor to nearby allies. (Radius is now 1000) Taric can activate his W to gain a powerful hammer slam that lowers the target's armor. This ability is scaled by how much armor Taric has.

[E] Gem of Shock: Taric shines a blaze of light from his shield in a 90˚ location that stuns all enemies for 0.6/0.8/1/1.2/1.4 seconds. This ability is scaled by how much Magic Resist Taric has. And it is only up to 700 in the 90˚ perimeter.

[R] Gem of Pain: Taric slams his hammer on the ground to deal damage to those in the 600 perimeter of Taric. The damage is 300/350/400 and is also gains bonus by how much Armor and Magic Resist Taric has. After the attack, allies within a 900 perimeter of Taric gain 30/60/90 bonus Attack Damage and Ability Power for the next 5 or more seconds.

Gem of Shock better have a 14-18 second CD at max rank...

I'm not going to give the numbers, this is just how I would make him.

At least make the stun 0.8/0.9/1.0/1.1/1.2? 700 Range cone AoE stun seems insane on paper.

:I Uh, well, I made the stun that long do to it not being a AoE and now a skill shot. I want it to resemble Cassiopeia's R but with restrictions. As it does still deal damage, it is now only minimal.

not being an AoE and now a skill shot

I don't get how this would work on a cone-AoE based interaction...

Does it shoot limited number of "light projectiles"? But that would imply it doesn't stun "all" enemies in the cone.

hm, i may had mixed up the acronym "AoE" to mean something else. if anything else, i hope that i explained at least to give you the idea of what i meant.

not much of that was reworked..

Well, he has a new passive, his Q, E, and R now work with magic resist. His E is now like Cassiopeia's. His W deals to 1 target, and is like his original passive.

In total, he is still a fighter but also a better support. And has a reason for magic resist now.

OK, frist thing: I read his ult name as Gem of panic and was wandering if he fears enemies and make some rape faces :D.

Anyway his passive gives him a lot of free stats, im sure i read somewhere that Rito want to remove abilities like this. His E looks like mini Cassio Ult, very powerful ability... not sure it shoud be as powerful as an ordinary ability.

After rework like this he will be much more porweful with all those free stats, aoe stun, and dmg form defence. Imagine him on top or in jungle they should rename him as The Gem Terror not Knight ;D.

I realy like how it's close to orginal but it look (im not even compare him to thresh lvl) quite borring near other supports nowadays. Try to add full scalings, stats and other stuff, maybe some thoughts and do some math (i forgot about it in my taric rework and his q ended as an OP 1-100 heal for his team xD) and Good Luck.

I don't understand. Yes, he gains a good bonus but here's how I would do it.

[Q] would heal himself and a target ally for 65/110/155/200/245 (+30% magic resist) (7% of Taric's bonus health). On himself, it will be 85/140/200/250/310 (+40% magic resist) (10% of Taric's bonus health). The cost would be 60/78/96/114/132 mana. (Because no matter what, he now has no cool down reduction and its a little much.)

The [W] will deal the 50/100/150/200/250 (+20% armor) to 1 enemy. It will reduce their armor by 5/10/15/20/25 (+5% armor) for the 4 seconds. When inactive, it passively gives out 12% of Taric's armor to nearby allies in a 1000 perimeter. It no longer gives the bonus armor because of the passive. The cost will be 40/45/50/55/60 mana.

The [E] will be a Braum type of move (or something) where Taric shoots a ball of gems at an emery as a skill shot. If enemy is hit, they receive 60/105/150/195/240 damage (+30% magic resist) and stuns the enemy for 1.4 seconds. This will cost 65/70/75/80/85 mana.

The [R] will deal 150/250/350 (+30% armor) (+30% magic resist) and ignores 15% of armor and magic resist. After the slam, the ability remains the same with it's bonus. The cost is the same.

All in all, the most armor Taric can get (if only armor) is around 490. That with the bonus is 564. Now for each ability bonus, that would be 170 bonus. His ultimate can only deal 620 damage at most.

Ohh so E is a skill-shoot, i thought its a cone because of this "90˚". Ok my bad, its ok now.

If im correct his W damage is added to his auto-attack damage. If it is its ok but its damage can be quite big.

Also i suppose his R reduces (not ignores) armor and magic resisit of targets hit by it. (correct me if im wrong, i could missread something)

Lets do some quick math for his dmg at lvl 18.

My usual build (it probably sucks xD) for taric is Face of the Mountain, Ruby Sightstone, Mercury's Treads, Iceborn Gauntlet, Sunfire Cape and Locket of the Iron Solari (maybe not in that order but it doesnt matter right now) it gives me: hp: +500 health +400 health +450 health +400 health + ~100 form runes and masteries = 1850 bonus hp armor: +60 armor +45 armor +~10 form runes and masteries = 115 bonus armor MR: +25 magic resistance +40 magic resistance +~10 form runes and masteries = 75 bonus mr

Taric stats at 18 lvl are: hp: 2149 base + 1850 bonus = ~4000 hp armor: ((80 base + 115 bonus) x 1.15 passive bonus) x 1.12 W bonus = ~250 armor mr: (53 base + 75 bonus mr) x 1.15 passive bonus = ~150 mr AD: 117

Im not sure when his ult reduces armor and magic resist of his targets but if its before it deals dmg (correct me if im wrong) then its best skill to start with (even if not its still the best skill to start :D) because its basiclly increase all your dmg by 15%. Also i think his W like all auto-attack modificators resets his AA animation so he can use 2 AA one after another. so his combo for single target looks like this R -> AA -> E -> AA+W

1.15(form ult) x ( (350 + 75 + 45)(R) + (1.25(Iceborn Gauntlet) x 117(AA)) + (240 + 45)(E) + (117(AA) + (250 + 50))(W) ) = = 1.15 x ( 470(R) + 146(AA) + 285(E) + 417(W) ) = = ~1515 single target damage so Taric can nuke enemy adc with 75% hp in 2 seconds :D (i like this, Rito plis) (i forget to count his armor reduction form W but it wont change the numbers that much)

Ok, lets leave this math. All in all i really like ur idea, you make use of his shield and hammer, chaging his stun from point-click to skill-shoot is a lot healthier for game but maybe something diffrent for his passive, some new, exciting mechanic to play with not just stat increase.

Well, his E was at first thought to be a shining light that "stuns" the enemy but in thought, a ball of gems stunning a enemy sounds way more Taric and though it is a OP version of Braum's Q, it does (however) have a shorter distance. His R should just ignore 15% but decreasing their armor and mr might be better. Thanks for the input.
