"We want preserve the fun elements of champions kits like Lee and Thresh"

This is just paraphrasing a GC quote. But I have a question, at what point do you stop trying to protect the "fun elements" of a champions kits when for that very reason, it's literally not fun at all to face them.

Lee Sin isn't fun to face when he either

  1. shows up to gank, missed Q but the ward hop slows me anyway

  2. ward hops right in my face making it literally impossible for him to miss his Q

There's nothing fun about that for the enemy of Lee. In almost every scenario, he wins out by virtue of having more stuff.

This isn't just a Lee Sin thing, there are several champions this applies to (j4, Nidalee, etc) that I have to question. Where do you draw the line at not caring how fun it is for that particular player because it's literally lame as fuck if you're the opposing player? Just curious.

If you disagree, it'd be nice to hear why. Not just spam downvotes.

Since when is Riot not endorsing double standards for champion kits?
