Am I wrong with still thinking Maokai's ult doesn't really work with his kit, was a half-baked Nami ult, moves too slow, and should be changed?
It doesn't help him jungle, or Top. It's decent as support, but the best way I'm seeing to use it is to W to the backline and send it back into the fray. But even then it doesn't even give him CoC buff since you W'd in.
I'm fine being told I'm out of line, but I had to ask.

But do you think there's synergy with the kit? If they'd made it a Nami ult they'd at least have given him a knock up, rather than a root which he already had. I just feel like they did him a disservice. If this were his starter ult, maybe I'd be less cranky, but his old ult offered something interesting. I don't feel that way about this one.
