Riot can we have more classifications for what roles champions are?

I mean right now it's pretty broad: Mage, Assassin, Support, Tank, Fighter, Marksman. Until recently, it was accurate enough. I mean sure, you had AD assassins and burst mages, control mages and poke mages, utility marksmen and hyper-carry marksmen, but those weren't really a big enough cause for more specifity.

Now however...

We have the latest addition to keywords, our 4 Juggernauts, and I can think of a few pre-existing that aptly fit that description, you called Ekko a "skirmisher assassin" and "utility assassin", which really is more just skirmisher, and I think Yasuo and Riven would fit in that category nicely. What's more I would be ready to guess this won't be the end of shiny new shmancy keywords.

It would certainly be of much benefit to new players, specificity avoids confusion, but I feel it could even help other players as well (the amount of people claiming Ekko is a full-on assassin is just horrific) by removing preconceptions about champions people have based on their listed "role" which in some cases is a little inaccurate, both for current and future champions. Again, I will use Ekko as an example. If you include his ultimates damage, he can 100-0, but we all know that is unrealistic/improbable/inconsistent, so he's not really an assassin is he? Skirmisher is more accurate because he works better jumping in and out of fights between his cooldowns. Now if he'd been labelled as a skirmisher from the beginning, and the term assassin had never been used, he'd probably be played in a much different style, and people wouldn't be comparing him to other Assassins.

Don't you think with the sheer number of champions we have now some more specificity would be very helpful.

Phew, managed to make it through without using the world: summoner 13

We used to have quite a (somewhat) big class roster (though I have already forgotten most of it), but Rioter thought it would be too hard for the players to handle for some godly reason and decided to reduce it.

Which shrinked down to the "MADC, ADC, Tank, Mage, Assassins, Support, Bruiser, Fighter etc etc" model which was widely accepted as being a cool middle ground.

Then now, they go even further and basically classify anyone melee as either tank or assassin, great. The birth of "Juggernauts" only happened because Riot don't know where to put the champs who are just bruisers from head to toe, so they decided to rework them into a pile of nonsense stats which is just lovely.

I gave up on the champ classes quite some time ago.

EDIT: Next stop would be they classifying champs according to lanes, which is coming I ensure you.
