Why are people so greedy when it comes to pickem?

Like Im so sick of: Wow Riot only 120$ of skins to all winners when X made you Y money?

Riot is a business. It cost you 0 dollars to make a pick'em, Riot owes you jack.

Think of it this way. Yeah sure only 1 person has a chance of winning because we got thrown a real curveball by LZ losing. But what if the season was REALLY predictable. and 100 or even 1000 people won. MILLIONS of people enter Pickem. 100= 12000$ potentially lost. 1000=120000$ Potentially lost. That is a lot of money. Sure its only potential. What if they already have 1 or all. Maybe they wouldnt buy it in the future. But it still is potential.

And to the people saying "Championship Ashe made 7,000,000$ in sales. Why is the prize so low" Because That money is split between 3 charities and the Prize Pool.

Peoples utter greed is seriously disappointing to see.

For some people, it's for that perfect pickem. Hard? Yes. Very. Especially if you're sober.

Some it's pride of coming close to their expectations. To have it shot in one match is a blow I'll definitely agree.

And some...they just want the 34 points to get the icon and making the once obvious bet failed and cost them points along the entire way.

I think I have that right.

12,000 = 0.002% of Championship Ashe profits.

So much hurt pockets.

Edit: Ok you say the charity. 0.006% of profits.
