Why in the world don't pro's realise that tristana is busted ....

The thing isn't even about Tristana, is that there are literally two types of meta viable at the moment:

• snowball early that develop in an even bigger snowball mid game (and if you can't won there you just lose, It doesn't matter how good your champions mid game is)
• very strong late game monsters that can burst you down istantly/never die (or both)

What the hell are those Varus picks? I mean, really Western coaches? Varus hasn't been a strong lane bully for quite a long time now, and surely isn't a great late game champ. His strengths are in mid game which is literally the least viable thing around to win unless you are Korean and you literally dominate the objective control game

Oh look, Tristana didn't get banned, C9 picked her & lost. So what's your point now?

It's more about how Gigabytes excel in those unexpected lane swaps (Rip SoaZ) , the double jungle, & the unexpected "Let's go in one by one against a fed Tristana" at that last minute.

Forget that; though yeah there's a point somewhere in it. Here's an interpretation of my pick 'em also depicted by that game:
