Cloud9 wins, what a surprise!

I just want to hear everyone's opinion on this. I think its amazing to be honest. IMT was a clear favorite, but unfortunately they couldn't keep it together when it really mattered. Cloud 9 is known to be very adaptive from a match to another so that Bo5 format really played to their advantage, and Huni... I mean cmon guy... Pull your shit together.

They won because we gave them our energy. Obviously.

༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ C9, take my energy ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ C9, take my energy ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ C9, take my energy ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ C9, take my energy ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽つ

But seriously i'm not very surprised. C9 has always been a top tier team even if they had their bad moments.Hopefully they go on to beat TSM and get 1st seed for worlds. Then CLG lose to immortals so TSM instantly get 2nd seed. After that if Liquid win the 3rd seed that will make my day.

First two parts might happen, who knows.Third is very unlikely hahaha.

I'm going to be 100% honest. If IMT doesn't pick dumb picks in games two or three I think they win. Never the less congratulations for C9 winning, good game 5.

C9 has very strong individual players (which they never get credit for)...their laners can hold up to any other na lanes...but their weakness was macro and teamplay... which is getting better every week

then some miss plays by imt (but you by no means can chalk it all up to that)

Huni didn't play as well as he could, and Impact played a ton better than he has been. I think that's the main reason C9 won. Impact pretty much got fed every time, and he used that to be able to dive the backline with the tanky damage dealers.

I said it before the series: C9's win condition is for Impact to absorb the pressure from Huni-Reignover so Meteos can pressure mid and bot for Jensen and Sneaky to get advantages. That is exactly what happened.

I for one knew C9 would beat IMT 3-2.
I know Jensen has the record for most kills in a game (20).
I know Impact is a World Champion and I understand that Sneaky is the most even ADC in NA history but honestly the wins for C9 is really thanks to Meteos.
He is constantly tanking for his team and doesn't care about KDA or Farm like he had in the past (2013-2014) but has really turned into a great shotcaller and team player for his team.
However I still can't believe that teams won't ban RekSai Gragas from him as all I ever see him play are those 2 champions.

Huni unfortunately only plays carry toplaners well. When they banned out GP and Rumble, he went to Lissandra in the final game which was a huge mistake. I can really relate to him because I hate playing tanks toplane. Impact was just on point the entire series. Poor Huni...

I won't pretend I wasn't worried about it, but I had a feeling it would be 3-2 C9 based off how both teams finished out the season. Huni honestly hasn't looked that great this season and Impact has really been pretty dominate for like the last four weeks or so. Really I think C9 looked like they had better individual talent and teamwork than Immortals had going into this series. Wouldn't have bet on it, but 3-2 would have been my prediction.

so i actaulyl just made a post about what i thought about huni. and tldr i feel like hes made a lot of progress but in this series he reverted back to last summer split huni

Huni seemed very upset from facial reactions after the loss. But the guy was splitting when their team's inhibs were going down.
