Problem with that is that while vlad can survive the lane and can pool her ulti his ADC/Support/Toplane carry (pick one) still gets instantly wiped from the face of the earth as soon as midgame skirmishes start.

i mean you can pick ahri, shes not the best but can out play the syndra when it comes to her combo ( besides ult)

Her counters depend on skills and positioning. A fight vs xerath or ziggs or veigar is really dangerous for syndra for example. You have to be agressive aswell. And pls if you play xerath dont charge your Q before dodging her Q. She can hit you with her W after but xersths Q hurts sooo much more so its not worth the risk especially with the imminent W damage from xerath aswell.
