The problem with Syndra is her counters aren't strong enough in other ways to contribute to team wins. Sure, the assassins counter her, and then have no wave clear or poke or seige ability. Then she gets zhonyas and it doesn't matter anyway as she just zhonya's their burst. Once the assassin update comes, assassins should as a whole have more tools to contribute to wins
