And then there is a 4 man dive top lane so you can't remake due to the enemies getting first blood.

dude you can remake like 60 seconds after someone AFKs. If he just never connected, you can remake before camps even spawn. 4 man dives don't happen until level 4-5 at least.

Seeing as he replied to a comment with a video that had a 5 man dive resulting in first blood for the guy getting dived, I thought he meant otherwise.

I didn't know it worked that way, but even then, you're probably going to die if 4 people dive you. Does it count your death or only the first blood?

RiotNeuroCat's post seems to imply that if you got first blood and you're on the shorthanded team, it doesn't matter if you die afterwards.

It works on ranked. I had a match where it was remade after there was first blood in the first three minutes.

Lucky for you, I started a match and my midlaner was afk for over 90 seconds before the 3 minute mark, and i get hit with the "/remake can only be used when a player has been disconnected" item 3070
