Hahahaahahahaha, "They showed everyone NA is a force to be reckoned with." By what metric? Not making it out of groups? That is grade A pathetic. Even an EU team cleared the groups stage, and EU is at an all time worst. That means even the best of NA couldn't match the worst of EU. That's abysmal.

If you are a jaded monkey who judges purely based on end results as opposed to performance than perhaps I could see why you would have that opinion on the matter.

TSM's loses had virtually nothing to do with how they actually played and performed during their matches. it was all composition and pick/ban related things for the most part.

And don't give me that junk about EU. You and I both know it isn't that simple.

Pretty sure you get better results by outperforming people.

League of legends isn't that binary of a game.

Actually every game is. If you can't produce results, then you're hardly a "force to be reckoned with". Doesn't matter if it's a stomp or a 80 minutes game. A win is a win, it's that simple.

KazaLyn Shao2 votes

It is that simple, because the best NA team EVER can't beat 2 mediocre Asian teams and an EU team from EU's worst year. TSM only needed 1 win on RNG to advance, they botched BADLY. That's legendary levels of suckage. At least Splyce beat RNG once. RNG advanced on TSM wins alone.

Keep telling yourself that. Because clearly there is no level of dynamics going on when it comes to match ups and situations. As I said before, TSM's loses had virtually nothing to do with how they actually played and performed during their matches. it was all composition and pick/ban related things for the most part.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Meanwhile, TSM is on the plane home. A loss at the pick/ban screen is still a loss, you still go home, you still look like garbage, and you still get taken out like garbage. No matter how you slice it and dice it, TSM gives RNG a free ride to the quarters giving them 2/3 of their wins without even so much as a hiccup.

Excuses for what? You make it sound like I am a member of TSM, lol. The point of the matter is you are merely looking at the end results like a monkey when my entire post was about how they performed.

TSM could have played like boosted animals but if they won you would see them in a positive light. Such a sheep, dammit.

Well, H2k, did have a easier group than TSM. And splyce and G2 did fall apart pretty spectacularly. NA and EU are about equally bad, and it not worth the energy to try to argue who is a little worse than the other.

Won't argue there, but I am by no means proud of TSM. They embarrassed us.

TheSequelsRBad1 votes

I am not embarrassed. TSM was in a hard group, they played their best, and they failed. There is no shame in losing. Fans over hyped TSM to the skies, but I am not surprised by TSM's losing to 2 really good teams..

You don't get points for "having the hardest group". You get points for winning. Neither RNG nor SSG were top teams from their respective regions. Both had particularly poor years, and both smashed TSM in week 2 when TSM had a particularly good year. When you can't even beat the B team from another region with your A team then you deserve to go home and never return.

I think you must be new to Worlds. This always happens. NA and EU are just weaker than Korea, and to a lesser degree, china. It is a gradual improment we need to hope for, not TSM crushing everyone out of the blue.

Who are we kidding! TSM was our holy hope of winning Worlds! C9 isn't gonna cut it. I'm sorry but lets face the facts. OTL...

You actually thought NA team has more than 0.000000000000001% chance to win worlds? LUL

Nope, but C9 doesn't even have THAT much of a chance. :/ I was hoping TSM would at least make it to semi-finals.

TheSequelsRBad1 votes

TSM was not a hope of winning worlds.

NA still has a long way to go to get there.

If C9 plays well and has some luck in draw, they could still get to semis.

Hey, I just want NA to have one team decent enough to get out of groups. I will be content with that if I can get it.

The thing is, if C9 makes it out, it will not be because they were decent enough but the cause they were handed the luck of the draw. Like, there group is baby food compared to TSM's.

It's like affirmative action. Not as satisfying or respectable imo.
