Except for the ones who believed in Samsung...but a 3-0?! Now I never really sided with this whole "Longzhu went 6-0 in groups - they're gonna stomp everything" blah blah. But I feel like I've been saying this for a while now: What's the road not the result? Longzhu was beatable just as Samsung was and it was shown now. But by this much?! It's like they didn't even wake up to play after game 1! That's what got me so thrown off.

They definitely looked cleaner here than vs KT. But they have always been a super clutch team (RIP finals 2016). Ive been swearing that they give up bames just to look weak lol. But wow yea the 3-0 was unexpected, heck even the win was unexpected by most.
I think everybody including casters forget that league is truly a game of strategy and counter-strategy that involves 1. Execution 2. Champion/Team match-up compositions 3. player mental psychology 4. Who wants the Win more....
As good as Longzhu is or any expected winner including SKT, there is always a counter-strategy. An easy example is Rock, Paper, Scissors.
I truly believe that sandbagging is also part of the korean strategy too in order to truly mask team strategies and compositions. Teams like TSM thought by dominating scrims against world opponents, they can produce the same results in actual games. In actuality, I think TSM was exposing themselves during these scrims and they were given a false sense of hope.

I always expected it. EVen bf worlds i called that LZ will just choke from the group stage. But after the group stage (6-0) i addmited that i was wromge...untial SSG wrecked them with 3-0 haha

LZ choked pretty hard too lol, it wasn't anything dramatic but they looked like they were desperate to make plays around objectives and did some things like taking too much damage from baron to force fights and things like that. Definitely didn't expect a 3-0 from SSG tho, they've got an opening to take worlds now... that or they've inaugurated SKT early lol
