My Open Congrats to POE of the EU LCS misfits

So I follow POEs facebook page, a while ago he was bummed after losing a game and vented about it on facebook. During that time frame I was a firm believer that the current standings were not gonna change and I firmly believed that Misfits was going to remain a middle tier team, I simply did not see them making it as a top 3 standings team. Time was running short. So I politely told him in the comment section this.

Me: "Do what you can this split, than body them season"

He than quickly replies

POE:"We are going to try our best! Our goal is obviously to reach worlds and i aint failing again"

At first I wrote those words off as unrealistic in my head, I gave him no real reply, I simply left the conversation. For after all he is a pro athlete, and I don't want to harm his determination, be a pretty douche baggy thing to reply to him anything else. This small but brief exchange of words between POE and I happened along the month of july. However, as if POE made a self oath that day, since that day he began winning and winning, working harder and major improvements were noticed within the team. Out of nowhere they make play offs, out of nowhere not only do they do so, but they become finalists basically guarenteed worlds.

POE I did not think it was possible, I wrote you and your team off as mid tier. You proved me wrong. Congrats, wish you and your team the best at worlds this year.

Moral of the story: Never write anyone out, for the moment you do, they will seek out to prove you wrong. Never give up, keep trying, chase your dreams.
