Will we see more "fighting for early game dominance" or "scale to late game" strategies from TSM now
It is obvious that while they may have preformed exceptionally well for the early game they could not even contest a late game RNG. Their decision to forgo a tank champion for more a AOE burst (wombo combo) with shields and heals comp was pretty risky. With minimal ways to stop the engage by RNG it was clear that if they had not gotten a significant lead before 15-20 minutes (not just gold/cs but kills, assists, objectives and with all lanes dominating) they would not win. They looked like they were doing just that until the 1 for 4 near dragon that they suffered, which would effectively decided the game's winner.
So will they, or better yet should they, move away from that early game dominance focus and draft a more scaling team with 1 or 2 tanks to absorb some of the damage and some champs with more instant CC like Malphite or Bard. I like Oriana and Kennen, but they are so telegraphed that landing good CC with them is difficult and easily dodged (unless a Lee Sin delivers the enemies right to you or your abilities to them).
