Why play Cho'gath TSM?
Cho'gath for TSM was a questionable pick imo. He is a good front line, has good CC, and can secure neutral objectives and delete squishy targets with his ult. His passive sustain helps him last in lane. However, you are against a Morgana, Gnar, Varus, and a Syndra. Morgana counters his CC, Gnar wins in the split pushing/and 1v1, Varus can just ult and chip away with the true damage plus heal reduction, and good luck catching Syndra who can hit him easily with her knock-back/stun combo because he gets massive (easier to hit with the combo). Since it was last picked, that means the only 2 logical reasons were for the tanky front line, and the neutral objective secure.
But this is TSM. The team who has seemingly minimal dragon/Rift Harold priority. Also there is Grig, who is fairly good at stealing/securing camps with smite, who is also on Kindred (can ult to mess up the enemy smite if needed). So naturally, TSM got a total of 1 dragon and the Barons. The barons are good, but passing up on 2 infernal draks? Why pick a champion who could secure those if you are going to just pass up on them? As for a front line, Alistar is already there (though why they picked Alistar into a Morgana in the first place is beyond me). Why not go someone with a bit more wave clear efficiency and/or the ability to punish the Gnar? Darius or maybe even Fiora could have worked since there is no tank on the enemy team because Gnar went full damage bruiser build. If he did not and went the more tank build, then there would be no significant split push threat.
