yeah, that may not have been the time or place for trashtalk but to be fair it kind of brought to light something else that is also uncool. A team that is in no shape to go to worlds just forced a better team out of the competition. CLG is a good team, but based on how this split and playoffs went, there are clearly other teams that deserve that spot more than them and would better represent the region.

IDK. Sure CLG was not great this split, but that MSI was dominated by them (and SKT) which is like a "mini worlds".

There is no doubt that they have potential to be a good team, but they just dont look like the same team that dominated at MSI. There is clearly some stuff that they have to sort out before they can get back to that level, unfortunately for them, the weeks leading up to worlds is neither the time nor place to work out issues because every other team is going to spend that time finding ways to translate their success from the split/playoffs into success against the best of the best. If they do manage to "get their act together" before worlds starts, they will still be a few weeks behind the rest of the teams in terms of practice. I personally think that C9 and IMT both look like they are closer to being ready than CLG

Yeah to be honest i think their team fell apart when Udyr, Frozen Gaunlet Tank Ekko, Fiora and those hardcore split push champions were over. Then the easy ADCS like caitlyn are not OUT of meta. No more just split pushing. All they had.

Everyone talks shitt in the NA LCS I can't speak for EU cause for the most part I don't watch EU but in NA it's a brotherhood and most of the players are friends and they all talk smack once and a while.

Dyrus trash talked CLG back in 2013 in the famous Sjokz interview. Regi and Hotshot trash talked way back in 2011-2012. Aphromoo trashed talked D-Lift last split

Long story short they know each other and know that it's all friendly banter.

Indeed the oldest rivalry and the players know each other and are good friends in real life. Yet random people want to complain and try to play peace maker with players that they don't know personally.

Korean players are far more aggressive with their banter than NA or EU. A bunch of the Chinese players as well.

LiftLift's shot at CLG was appropriately timed, and true. I had no problems with his word selection at all. Maybe CLG will pull their fingers out of their collective asses and overhaul what's plaguing them.
