LCS Worlds is pointless.

A team from Asia has won every year. NA have been eliminated either in the first round (yet again this year) or haven't even made it that far . This will not change. Europe is just next in line to go. Why can't the LCS just stick to regionals? Why bother having a World Champion if it's always going to be from the same part of the world? Can't we just accept that Asia has clearly better and more dedicated gamers and stop trying to compete with them?

Fnatic won season 1

yes, instead of trying to play better to try and beat the masters of their craft, let's just isolate ourselves from them and pretend we're good.

There's no point to the LCS without Worlds. Yay, you're one of the best teams of your region. There are better teams out there. Let's get better and try to beat them.

I guess you don't know that Fnatic won worlds. I would have thought the Fnatic skins would have given it away.

Season 1 FNC won and TSM made it to semi finals. Last year. TSM made it out of the group stage and was the first team to take a game off of SSW (who ended up winning worlds).

Downvote because racism. Apparently all of Asia, the largest continent in the world, with the most people by far, is all the same.

Its only "pointless" because trolls such as yourself (or Dyrus for that matter) don't know how to play LoL in NA region... and the teams that come out of NA are horrible, especially in teamfights. They are easily baited and don't think through the fight first... no attention to crowd control or enemy canceling thereof. If NA players got better heads and shotcalling then maybe they could win.

And supports... don't forget NA supports are horrible. They need to be 5v5 and not 4v5 most matches.

I either didn't know or forgot that Fnatic was an NA team. THAT'S STILL ONLY ONE FUCKING TEAM. I'm not at all saying that they should call it a world championship if it doesn't ya know, involve the rest of the world. But would it be so bad to just have champions of each region and not them progress to a world stage where two of them have almost always lost? It's embarrassing.

Europe won season 1, and this is the first year NA hasn't made it out of groups. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Because things like this fluctuate. In a year or two it might be EU or NA that's the best in the world. Maybe even SA. #howdosportswork

My only complaint is that when the US hosts Worlds the games are still played at 4am to cater to Asia.

It's an honor for some of the teams to even make it to worlds. Even if they don't win, they are usually the top teams from every region, as well as wild card teams. Either way, the team that wins is usually the most deserving team anyways, and they have worked for their win.

Also, as some of the others have said, Fnatic is a EU LCS team, and they won the first Worlds tournament. If the North American teams prepared better, played better, and played smarter, maybe one of the teams would still be in the knockout stages.
