I'd like to hear or read any responses from Players or Team Owners on the format switch.

In "The Dive" podcast special episode, and even in the article released, they said that everyone, that being players and teams alike, was and is on board with switching back to Bo1's. Despite being someone who normally backs up Riot in everything they do, I'll admit the format switch is........questionable. But I will also admit that I have no info on what's going on in the background.

They do address the concern of NA being less competitive internationally in both "The Dive" and the article saying that they plan on making srimms and practice more efficient. So, it could be that we as fans only see our teams play 18 games in the season, but, technically, they would have just as many if not more games under their belt than now.

So, has anyone seen any kind of response from this from pretty much anyone involved in the Esports scene? If so, could you link it? I'd love to see/read anything you have.

Scrims and practices more efficient....and how do you do that exactly?

How can you even make those more efficient?

Riot is switching back to Bo1 because they were losing money and views because people didn't want to stay and watch Bo3s.

I have a really hard time believing the teams wanted this change. It's like going from a competitive situation where you need to win 2 out of 3.. to going to random single games where you have to sit around all day waiting for your team to play. I can't imagine a more crap situation for them.
