Looking for Akali Tips

Hello! I'm very new to League of Legends, I've been playing roughly about a month. I'm currently level 20.

It took me a bit but I've found the champion that works best for me is Akali . I was wondering If any one had any good tips & tricks for this specific champion?

I also had a few questions of my own.

_- What lane does Akali work best in?

Do you recommend using Mejai's Soulstealer to start or going straight for the Hextech Gunblade?
I seem to only get in an average 40 - 45 minute game roughly 150 CS. Is this average or can it be improved?_

-mejals is only good if you dont die, but since you are noob, better dont get it.

-all lanes and even jungle, since she can sustain herself and farm rather safely. she isnt like the "best" in any lane, but flexible.

-average means terrible because the average league player is very bad, so do you want to look for average CS or good CS? basically you can say, 100 per 10 minutes, so 400 cs at 40 minutes. focourse that is when you stay in lane only and get every single CS, but 80 per 10 minues should be doable and also mandatory.

Honestly, I love AD Akali so I couldn't say. Put a Bloodthirster and Phantom Dancer on her, then all AP from there, and she becomes something of a burst damage bruiser. It'd also improve your CS, since her E is an area attack that scales pretty big with AD and has a very short cooldown.

As far as lane... She seems to be out of place at the moment. But I see her more top than mid lately.
