Basically I'll take any advice you have, but as far as playing I'm pretty sure I'll have to play to learn.
But right off hand I know a build can help so here's mine, let me know if I need any changes and why.

as valid second spells for bettering your team fight or split pushing...
= Can save allies and give you & teammate a speed boost when needed.
= Can save teammate from assassin with this, + make a lone adc completely helpless to fight back.
= with dragon being such a huge deal now... but top being the easiest gank... port can let you have your cake and eat it too... as well as provided massive power late-mid and on, for split pushing to back-dooring, to helping push by keeping a minion alive under a tower.

Live in the other junglers jungle. Shaco, like a lot of s4 junglers, has a rough time in the jungle but knowing this means If they aren't playing fiddlesticks or Warwick you can kill them at their second buff easy. Clear your first two camps and head straight to their buff, setup boxes and wait for them to struggle and kill them.
