Most polite way to help team mates?

Whats the most polite way to give constructive criticism? In games if there is someone who is dying after over extending with no wards for example, I'll try to tell them to ward before pushing out so far, but it seems like everyone in solo queue has paper skin and glass bones and gets hyper defensive when you try to help them improve, so is there a "right" way to offer suggestions without people getting defensive/muting me/flaming? Or is this just the state of silver elo solo queue and I have to pray to get lucky enough to climb?

Don't you think there's something wrong with that? Is ranked really just a lottery where you either get competent team mates or people who don't know what wards are and blame their team for their mistakes?

yes, its random. but if you play good every game, your winrate increases by a certain amount.

Say "Lets get some more vision" Don't say "YOU NEED WARDS!"

Say "Lets Group" Don't say " WHY WERE YOU TOP"

Say "Dragon in 30" Don't say "Jungle never ready for d"

Make your comments group focused never individual focused. NEVER tell someone how to build. Instead tell the team what is needed. "They are mostly ap lets get some MR."

Thanks I'll try that, but what do I do if there's people that still don't listen? Say to myself "well shucks looks like I lost the lottery?" I main top and usually play champions that can't make up for team mates playing poorly. That's not to say I don't also play poorly myself sometimes.

There will always be people who will never listen to anyone. Best you can do is work with those who will listen. 4v5's are winnable with good communication. Best thing you can do is try to keep it group focused so you don't get dragged into a confrontation with those who won't listen.

Keep it civil and never make it personal. This is a game but you can also look at it like business/customer service. If given a compromise most people with work with you. Just remember they want to have input as well and never shut it down just offer alternatives if you don't agree.

Also remember sometimes it is better to follow then to lead. Sometimes that is the compromise.
