Top lane troubles featuring Garen

Hey NA, I'm a bronze 2 scrublord and I need some help dealing with Garen. Now I play a lot of team builder, and in the current B2 scrublord team builder meta, Garen is king of top lane and Garen players seem to be getting more aggressive as they realize how freaking strong he is. Here is the problem I continually face starting from the 2 minute mark:

I attempt to farm, last-hitting and doing my best to stay out of Garen's range. Garen IMMEDIATELY charges at me, silences me, and hits me with an auto or two. Garen runs back to avoid aggro from my minions. Garen repeats this process whenever I try to last hit anything. Garen forces me back to my tower, running forward to hit me the moment I leave my tower's range. My tower steals all my farm. My cs looks like a joke.

In light of this problem, can anyone offer general advice (something besides "Play champion X") for dealing with Garen, scaring him off, or doing anything else that might allow me to be able to farm. Does Garen have weaknesses that I should know about? I want to find a way to be able to enjoy the game without being forced to play a tiny pool of champions just to hold off Garen from his relentless onslaught of zoning and denial. Movement tricks, jukes, mind games, anything I can do that doesn't require me to play a certain champion helps. Thanks in advance.

Well Garen is a strong champ over all but he does fall to some one with ranged poke. The thing about Garen is that he is tanky so he can just Q-E-W and not take allot of damage from it. If any thing i can try and help with your tower taking your farm the thing you do is: melee minions take 2 tower hits then an auto will kill for casters its 2 tower shots and they die so you need to auto let tower hit then auto again and you will kill it. Cannons are a bit harder just wait tell they get low then use an ability to get it like a darius W or some thing like that and then you should get it. PS: i am sorry if this doesn't help that much :( but Garen is a strong pick with not much counter play to him. Just don't feed him and ask for some ganks if you need. but you just want to play a farm lane i hope that this will help you out :) if you did better vs him or a better creep score then please let me know. Or if it isn't helping then i can try and see if i can help more

Shen Gangplank Olaf can all beat garen in a skill matchup.

Stop him from getting the Regen if you can. Any body who can poke him and keep him from getting healthy. Also when he trades with you trade back. Once he blows all his CD's his damage drops off try and put the hurt on him while he is trading or he will just get free trades off you till he has such an HP advantage he can bully you out of lane. Go back if you're too low it's better to lose some cs then give up a kill. lastly buy health pots they are cheap and very useful pop them when he trys to all in you or when he is trading with you. If you come out on top a few times he will most likely just not want to trade with you and you can farm easier. Hope that helps!
