Alright, here's an idea for the next featured game mode: Instalock. It is the blindest of blind picks. Here's how champ select works.

  1. You pick your champion, having no visibility of what the rest of your team or the enemy team has picked.
  2. You and your allies can see each other's picks and have 1 minute to figure out your roles before the game starts.

So basically the most toxic mode ever? Everyone would instantly pick a mid lane champ since mid is the popular role. Imagine a team of full yasuo or a team composed by 2 supp because eachother think that noone want to play support and u got stuck with 2 support that has to choose the only role left (jungle or adc for example)

Sounds like a regular lobby to me. :D

But seriously, it's a bit like a randomly-picked mode (e.g. ARAM), but with an excuse to blame people for their champion pick.

So this would be a cool idea except...all the best champions can play multiple roles(except adc and supp)

So here's what most comps will be made of:

Aatrox (Jg, top or mid) Ryze (Top or mid) Pyke (Supp, mid or top) Morgana (The truest flex, can even jg in a pinch) Sylas (Top, mid, or jg in a pinch) Nautilus (Supp, mid or top) Galio (Sup mid or top) Hecarim (Jg or top) Irelia (Mid or top) Twitch (Jg or ADC) Neeko (ADC, mid or top...or supp) Gragas (Jg or supp, or mid/top in a pinch) JarvanIV (Top, Jg, or Supp)

Also there would be lots of people spamming random dumb champions and losing games. But it would be pretty boring once people are decent at the format.

You get your role assigned

You still cant see or communicate with your team

Premades will only be put up against other premades
