Hey y'all. Top/mid main looking to expand champ pool after hitting gold.

Looking to add shen top and maybe support or jungle (though he is weaker there) and was hoping to get advice. He has hp scaling so I assume cinder hulk would be strong. Can he get away with tp smite? Is smite flash worth considering if he can't or just go tp and have double global? Also if I go support is what are good items after mountain and sight stone, plus should I max e or q first? Finally would you say one damage item is worth considering in his build (botrk or tri I assume) or just go straight tank (if building one damage how soon should I go that item, right after cinder hulk/sun fire?)? Feel free to add any other advice as well.

Shen is easy to counter pick top lane, he's slow jungle clearing, and people bitch about him as support. I've played him in all three roles.

  1. I always level Q first, regardless of where I'm playing because it is utility for your team mates as well as you.
  2. Smite Tele Top is great if you want the Red Smite and Cinderhulk. Just make sure you keep your taunt in reserve for escapes.
  3. For Support Sightstone is always my 800g purchase, but I do that regardless if I'm playing AD Tank support.
