How to level up
I'm only level 10, and would like to get into normals but I'm afraid I don't have enough runes/masteries to be able to compete well enough, so I'm still in bots. What are some ways to level up faster?

Play with a friend, play bots, or just go into normals because it will automatically try and find people of a similar level. Dont worry about runes until you can buy tier 3 anyways. You can add me if you want and ill play with you to try and help lvl you up.
I would recommend starting normals. There's no real reason to wait any longer. You will learn a lot more from playing against other players, even if you are sometimes at a disadvantage due to runes. Playing only bots all the way to 30 would be a big mistake, and unfortunately not an uncommon one.
I agree with going into normals soon. I wish I would have done normals sooner.
Yeah I did normals starting around level 10. They match you people of similar level so runes and masteries aren't really a factor. Plus the knowledge and experience you learn from playing against bots is nothing compared to playing against real people. So the earlier you do it, the better.
at lvl 10 the amount a rune page gives is very low and a waste, so just start playing normal and level up that way or ARAM
you face other levels 10s they wont have runes/ either.............
Runes DO help a lot, but you'll be fine if you play well. Keep your masteries updated and you should be fine IMO. My advice would be to stay away from playing too many bots games. I have a few level 30 friends that played bots for about 40% of their games, and they dont know many of the mechanics of the teamwork aspect of the game.
Could try ARAMs. Usually short games and I think they give more IP and experience.
Plus the vast majority of ARAMs I play are fun, win or lose. And people don't generally complain or talk crap. Still happoens, don't get me wrong, but silence is an ignore click away :)
Fastest way? Buy Per win boost (and Time boosts if you can play all day) and just spam AI
