Learning ADC

I main support and have a really good grasp of the various match-ups in bot lane but I wanted to switch to a carry role to try and raise my rankings. Laning is never a problem. I often get my ADC fed and roam and help other lanes. The problem is that it is really hard to carry from support and as a result I am trying to learn ADC. ADC is a great carry role and I do pretty well with kiting, farming and positioning (for the most part) but was curious what I can do against deep diving assassins? Zed and leblanc would be at the forefront of my mind. i was wondering what kind of tactics do other ADC use when they know the assassin is just waiting to flash, dash, ult kill the adc when one pops onto the screen?

Just need good positioning. Other works are belongs to your teammates, your kit as an ADC does not allow you to face with whole enemy team. One thing I recommend when you play against (fed) assassin is got item 3072 and item 3102 ASAP. Dont try to rush dmg, you cant dmg anyone if you die in 1-shot.

Here is a tip coming from an adc main. If the enemy team is constanty diving you and saving ults for you so much so that you can't get one attack off in a fight. What I do is sit back pretty far back behind my team, out of enemy vision and wait. I look for the enemy ults that have been killing me for example, and as soon as they see their main target isn't there, they might use on someone else. as soon as they do, you can finally join the fight and not die instantly.

When I play twitch on ARAM. (which is my favorite ARAM champ) sometimes you just have to sit back and let a fight start and carry on for a few before you jump in.
